About Our Company

Destination Insight was founded by Pam Carnes. Pam brings a diverse combination of skills to the organization. As Managing Director, Pam has over 16 years of experience in Destination Management, Incentive Travel, Meeting Planning and Hotel Management with Loews Resorts, Navigant International, Seattle VIP Services and Westin Hotels.

She has planned and executed hundred of events in every imaginable market segment. Pam received her CMP certification in 1996 and understands the quality and sophistication needed in making complex programs run smoothly.

Destination Insight is an active partner with the Metropolitan Tucson Convention & Visitors Bureau and a member of the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and SITE:  Society of Incentive Travel Executives.

Pam Carnes, CMP Pam was raised in Seattle Washington and has called Tucson home since 2001. She met her husband Heath while working on board ship for Princess Cruise Line. They spend their free time exploring Tucson with their two children Kaitlin & Dylan. They have a passion for travel and both have worked in the meeting and event industry for their entire careers.
